Lost
Lost RNF-’96 Surfboard The RNF-’96 represents a refined evolution of the original “fish” designs shaped between 1994 and 1996. Developed through consistent hand shaping and fine-tuning, it became the foundation for the boards surfed by Chris Ward and Cory Lopez during the WQS tour. These early RNF boards, though hand-shaped and inconsistent, helped define modern performance fish surfboards and left a lasting mark on surf history. Based with respect—but not total replication—of the original boards made for Chris and Cory before the release of 5'5” x 19 1/4” , the RNF-’96 blends authentic 1996 design elements with over 25 years of board-building experience. Featuring proven rocker curves , balanced outline , and single-to-double concave bottom contours , it delivers control, flow, and all-around performance. Tested by Kolohe, Coco, Ian Crane, and Crosby Cola , the RNF-’96 remains a fast, rip-able, high-performance fish —true to its roots, yet optimized for modern surfing.
